Formwork carpenter — North Slope Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in North Slope Borough, Alaska. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. The role involves: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts 6+ years on the tools preferred.
