Machinist — Windham County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machinist in Windham County, Vermont. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
