We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in Maverick County, Texas. The role involves mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; run load and overload tests with test weights; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
