Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Efon, Ekiti State. Your main tasks: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
