Offshore rigger — Somervell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Somervell County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
