Power press operator — Trego County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Trego County, Kansas. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
