Elevator technician — Meigs County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator technician in Meigs County, Ohio. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On the job you will handle: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
