Fabricator-welder — Collier County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Collier County, Florida. The job is on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day to day you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
