Plant operator • Buckingham County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Buckingham County, Virginia. You will be based at an auto-parts workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
