Rebar installer — Cumberland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The job is on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling You will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
