We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Bakassi, Cross River State. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. On a typical shift you will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Full-time, day shift. ₦110,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
