Scaffold fitter wanted in Lancaster County

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Lancaster County, Virginia. You will work at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid You should have: • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
