We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. Requirements: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure The role involves: • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
