Brickwork mason — Hyde County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Hyde County, South Dakota. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Part-time with flexible hours.
