Immediate opening: we are hiring a beldar in Adair County, Kentucky. You will be based with a civil contractor. The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Full-time with occasional weekends.
