The role involves treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
