Vacuum press operator — Muskegon County

Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Muskegon County, Michigan. Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
