Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Martin County, North Carolina. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Full-time with occasional weekends.
