Argon welder — Roscommon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Roscommon County, Michigan. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard You will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
