Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Giwa, Kaduna State. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day-to-day duties: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Part-time with flexible hours.
