Gardener — Orange County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in Orange County, Texas. The job is at a private estate garden. Day-to-day duties: • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance 3+ years on the tools preferred.
