Brickwork mason — Piute County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Piute County, Utah. You will be based at a residential building site. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Full-time with occasional weekends.
