Join our team: we are hiring a butcher in Uhunmwonde, Edo. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler The role involves monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
