Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Wheeler County, Nebraska. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Your main tasks: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
