JCB operator • Blackburn with Darwen, England

Join our team: we are hiring a JCB operator in Blackburn with Darwen, England. You will be based at a stone quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures 6+ years on the tools preferred.
