Sewing machine operator — Wakulla County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Wakulla County, Florida. You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
