Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Clarke County, Virginia. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. On a typical shift you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; load and index turning tools in the turret; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
