Great opportunity: we are hiring a deboner in Wheeler County, Texas. You will be based at a halal meat counter. The role involves: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Season and marinate meat on request • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
