UPVC welding machine operator — Bakassi

Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Bakassi, Cross River State. You will be based in the profile cutting and welding bay. You will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam. Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
