Urgent requirement: we are hiring an oven operator in Otsego County, Michigan. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • 2+ years' experience as a baker On a typical shift you will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream.
