You should have: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Your main tasks: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
