Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sausage maker in Wokingham, England. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher The role involves: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Season and marinate meat on request • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
