Great opportunity: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Brevard County, Florida. You will be based at a new-build housing development. The role involves: • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
