We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Frio County, Texas. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
