Pipe tig welder — Lawrence County

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Lawrence County, Kentucky. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
