Core maker — Calhoun County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Calhoun County, Arkansas. The job is on the moulding line. On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time, day shift.
