Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Webster County, Georgia. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Pay around $11,750 per project, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
