Visual inspection operator — Wapello County

Now hiring: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Wapello County, Iowa. You will work on a garment production line. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems You will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line.
