Great opportunity: power float operator (Missouri)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Saline County, Missouri. The job is on a road and bridge project. Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Your main tasks: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
