We are recruiting: we are hiring a stitching operator in Crisp County, Georgia. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Day to day you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Rotating shifts.
