Meat cutter — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Washington County, Kentucky. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. On a typical shift you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; season and marinate meat on request; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
