Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Rusk County, Texas. You will work at a dry cleaner's. The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; give each garment a final press before packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings We offer $21 per hour plus benefits.
