Laundry presser — Edgecombe County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. You will be based at a garment factory. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; give each garment a final press before packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours.
