Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Wasco County, Oregon. The job is at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Meals and transport allowance provided.
