Reinforcement steel fixer • Webb County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Webb County, Texas. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing The role involves: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
