Bulldozer operator — Wabash County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Wabash County, Indiana. You will be based at a land-clearing site. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
