Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Warren County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Give each garment a final press before packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
