Offshore rigger — King County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in King County, Texas. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
