Gang bricklayer — Madison County

Join our team: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Madison County, New York. Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
