Vacancy available: crawler crane operator (Minnesota)

Join our team: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Pipestone County, Minnesota. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
